The Web in Numbers: Twitter Back on Track, Wolfram Alpha Plummets

Last couple of months have been very interesting as far as new startups, projects and services go. We’ve seen Microsoft switch its search engine from Live to Bing, and Wolfram Alpha came to cater to the needs of geeks all over the planet; on the other hand, Twitter’s huge growth has slowed down considerably in June. Compete now displays traffic results for June; I’ve been waiting for these anxiously, as now we can finally paint some kind of picture about the success of these new online services. Our own Ben Parr has already taken a look at Bing’s immense growth , noting that it has managed to outgrow some very big sites in the time frame of just one month
