Attention to new waves of viruses Koobface
Let’s go back to talking about Koobface, the virus that is infesting the major social network, and particularly Twitter and Facebook.
Koobface is a virus that spreads via links, behind a fake video, link to copies of itself to infect profiles on social network. Currently Koobface has slowed its spread, thanks to the efforts of the sites to limit the spread.
However, the recent attacks on Twitter and Facebook have shown that social networks are easy to hit, and in the coming months we expect a natural evolution of Koobface. In what way?
First Koobface through URL may show a different type, randomized to the reference video and making various warnings that appear on user profiles.
Our advice is simple: before you click on a link that seems suspicious enough to position the mouse over and see the real address that appears on the bottom of your browser: if it is a particular link, different from those of Twitter or Facebook is very sure of Koobface.
