FlashEff 2
The “Flash world” has always benefited from the contribution of components and extensions, placed online by users, free or not. A ‘company very active in the development of extensions for Flash Components Jumpeye is the author of one of the most popular extensions probably when Flash CS3 and CS4: FlashEff, which was recently released version 2.
FlashEff is a set of effects to text and movieclip, available in both commercial and free version, in this article talk about the free version, whose limitations are mainly related to the number of effects, with less customization and especially all ‘ inability to use the effects on commercial projects, which is permitted in the paid versions.

This extension has spread very quickly due to the number of effects available (more than 3000 customizable) and especially the ease of use. A ‘aspect that surely will affect the developers is the ability to manage the effects through ActionScript (FlashEff works only with ActionScript 3), while for the most part interested in design you can use the visual mode, available through a component and a intuitive panel, as we shall see shortly.
Installing FlashEff 2
First download the free version, it will be necessary to register to the site (or login). It is useful to remember the login details, because we must also use them to access the panel FlashEff in Flash!
Once authenticated, click the button “Free Download”, and we obtain l ‘zip archive containing l ‘ extension with a wealth of documentation and examples. Running the file and expect that l ‘extension is installed (requires l ‘ Extension Manager, which is usually installed with Flash or with any edition of Creative Suite).

At this point we start Flash and create a new Flash File (ActionScript 3), then open the Components panel we should find the new categories
